Wall Street to Democrats – Drop Dead!

It seems that Wall Street and the financial services sector has had enough of the Obama Administration and Congress and as such have closed their wallets to the party. The Republicans, never one group that has had a problem saying no to money, has turned its fund raising efforts toward capitalizing on this opportunity. The GOP is out and about trying to court anyone in lower Manhattan and beyond a with a pulse and a purse. This is according to recent reports inThe New York Times and The Wall Street Journal

The Journal points out the GOP is working hard to convince bankers and their minions that they are the last best hope to ensuring their survival. And while this may be true, I am not so sure that if the GOP came a knocking, I would be a buying. Politicians regardless of which side of the aisle they are on, are notoriously out for one thing – themselves. So my advice to anyone taking a meeting with GOP leaders over the next few weeks or months – get it in writing! Otherwise be prepared to be disappointed.
