Smartphone to perfect your swing

The bluetooth low energy appcessories maker Mosoro has created a motion-detecting device 3D-Sport the size of a small usb jump drive that when attached to your golf clubs, baseball bat, skaeteboard, tennis racket or other equipment syncs data to your smartphone with iOS, Windows and Android platforms.

The 3D clips will help you to perfect your swing with the promise of a “more precise view of how you swing your equipment… to correct some of your mistakes.

It is unlear if the product is available on the market yet, there is no published price but the company is open to licensing inquiries. To learn more visit Mosoro and you may also want to check out their Weather appcessory – it measures temperature, humidity, elevation, and pressure shoots it to your smartphone and boasts being the world’s first crowd-sourced weather solution.

A Denver-based writer and photographer who seems to have used it tweeted, “Mosoro is showing what happens when vision, creativity and cool technology intersect. Completely mind blowing.”

Until Mosoro hits the shelves you might want to stick with iSwing ($2.99-3.99) the top sports app of 2011 on iTunes; it also works on Android-based devices.
