Dinner in the Sky, a global culinary event, heads to Brussels this year during Brusselicious 2012 – a year-long food festival.
More than 600 guests are expected to enjoy the nose-bleed seated meal produced by the Dining Event company, known for their branded altitude dining, clubs and weddings in Paris, London, Dubai, Las Vegas, Sydney, Monaco and various cities in 30 other countries.
Dinner in the Sky pops up for four weeks (June 4 – July 1) some 30 meters into the Brussel’s sky and moves between the city’s highlights: Royal Palace (June 4-10), Atomium (June 11-17), Esplanade of Cinquantenaire (June 18-24) and the Bois de la Cambre (June 25-July 1).
Seven renowned Brussels-based chefs: Yves Mattagne, Lionel Rigolet, Pascal Devalkeneer, Giovanni Bruno, David Martin, Luigi Ciciriello and Patrick Vandecasserie will prepare set lunch and dinner menus.
A ticket to this flying restaurant costs €250/$310 per plate.
