Isola di Mal Ventre, an island off the coast of Sardinia, is on sale now for a mere €1.5 million (around $2 million).
The 200-acre island, which has belonged to a British businessman since 1972, is entirely wild and isolated. The only marks of civilization: a few columns dating to Roman times and an old sheperd’s cabin.
Of course, this means there is no infrastructure in place for amenities such as electricity or water.
While the infamous mistral wind is known to blow on the west coast, the southeast coast offers a long beach with powdery sand and turquoise waters.
