India, not to be outdone by China, the Middle East or the US, has launched the ultimate luxe ATM that dispenses diamonds and gold in Mumbai.
It is the first of its kind in the world to allow jewellery withdrawl on-the-go. Simply slide in a credit card or cash and in turn you can select gold and silver bars coins, religious pendants and/or diamond studded pieces.
The Indian jewlery maker The Gianjali Group are the brains behind this new ATM netowrk and intend to place another 75 machines in Hindu temples, airports and malls, according to The Rich TImes blog.
The items currently range in price from INR 1,000-30,000 (USD 20-600).
