From smart watches to wearable fitness devices, consumers are spoiled for choice when it comes to keeping tabs on their calories burned, steps taken, and number of hours slept. But what about sun exposure? A sleek new bracelet called June has you covered.
Netatmo’s new device, designed by French jewelry designer (and Louis Vuitton and Harry Winston collaborator) Camille Toupet, wraps around your wrist to track sun exposure throughout the day.
The bracelet doesn’t feature a display but it syncs with an iOS app to send data to your smartphone on UV intensity and the total sun exposure absorbed by your skin throughout the day.
Plus it “advises women on how to maintain beautiful skin” by offering suggestions on what SPF number your sunscreen should be and when it’s time to move to the shade or put on a hat.
On display at this week’s CES trade show in Las Vegas, June comes in three colors — gold, platinum, and gunmetal — and is priced at $99.
