It is believed that before going into war, Boudicca and her calvary used the “woad plant extract” to turn their bodies and faces blue — “an effect that made them look like mythical beings to the invading Romans”.<\/p>\n

There is no “war” paint in the actual fragrance but the 150ml eau de toilette Paint (\u00a385\/$145) is also available in clear as Scent (\u00a395\/$170). Presently the company is only shipping to mainland UK addresses but Luckyscent.com allows for other e-shoppers to get a can and samples of the perfume.<\/p>\n
