With the anticipated delivery of the Learjet 85 in 2013, the first “buyer” of the Bombardier-built aircraft, Flexjet, recently announced the availability of its fractional jet ownership sales program for the business jet. Flexjet is a division of Bombardier, which is the third largest manufacturer of aircraft worldwide. The private-aviation firm also sent out the message that the first four Learjet 85 models it has are being offered at “competitive prices.” The Learjet 85 is the first business jet to be FAR Part 25-certified. Let the battle of the skies begin
Virgin Airlines hopes to soar above top airline companies like Emirates with enhanced in-flight entertainment. The launch of its new ‘Red’ system is slated for release in late 2012, the entertainment system features a larger, high-definition touchscreen seatback monitors, four times more entertainment content, and full Wi-Fi connectivity that allows passengers to connect their own devices to the system.
