While London has the Olympics, those in New York on August 4, 11 and 18 (7am-1pm) have the opportunity to climb the walls near Spring Street and zip-line “30 feet above East 17th Street and Park Avenue South.” The Summer Streets festival hosted by the Department of Transportation will extend from the Brooklyn Bridge on Lafeyette to 72nd/Central Park on Park Ave and boasts an impressive list of exhaust-free activities.
