Around the world with top 55 foodie blogs, says Saveur editors
From Algeria to Vietnam, Saveur magazine has released a list of 55 “must-read” food blogs to follow, written from every corner of the world. Many of the blogs are written in English and helmed by English-speaking expats living abroad and documenting their epicurean adventures. EatingAsia, for example, is helmed by an American husband-and-wife team living in Malaysia: wife Robyn Eckhardt writes the text, while husband David Hagerman shoots the photos. GQ cocktails and content to appear in Instanbul
In March 2012, GQ magazine is to debut in Turkey, but according to Women’s Wear Daily Condé Nast has bigger plans for its popular title. Condé Nast International’s Restaurants division— which launched last year to establish restaurants under Condé Nast brands around the world— is reportedly set to open up a GQ Bar in Istanbul next year. Although the location of the GQ Bar in Istanbul remains a secret, there are only a handful of places which would do justice in accommodating such a heavyweight Conde Nast title.
