TAXITREATS ANYONE?

Apparently New Yorkers are too lazy to stop off at a bodega or drugstore on any corner to buy energy drinks, snack bars, gum, mints and over-the-counter pain relievers. At least that is what the New York City Economic Development Corporation thinks as they awarded two students from Stern Business School at NYU and Universidad de Buenos Aires with a NYC Next Idea 2012 prize. $42 MILLION FOR NYC CONDO WITH $200,000 STORAGE BIN

According to Propgoluxury, One57, the 90 floor residential high-rise addition to the Park Hyatt currently being built is marketing 13 condos with asking prices of $42 million or more. Two high-floor duplexes are priced at $98.5 million making it both New York’s highest residential building in stature and price. “But it’s not just the apartments that are astronomically expensive. Storage bins in the building’s basement will cost as much as $200,000, a higher per-square-foot price than most Manhattan apartments command.
