Where are all the good shows?

I am sick and tired of cable television. There are truly a thousand channels in my network, each of which offers nothing of value. The bulk of today’s programming is made up of reruns of old baseball games, cooking shows and shows from the 1970s and 1980s, mixed in with reality talent and teen pregnancy programs. The only thing worth watching these days is the on-demand reruns of “The Wire” and “The Sopranos.” The reality is that reality shows and made-for-TV movies have killed television.
