Choppers go green

The green luxury electric bike industry appears to be growing thanks to the brains and braun of Parker Brothers Custom Choppers. After the success of bring the famed Tron bike to life and the Green Machine, they have now created The Detonator. The e-bike features a 30″ front wheel and dual 96 volt electric motors in the hub of the 27″ rear wheel. It is powered by lithium-ion batteries, and charges in an hour when plugged into a 110 volt outlet. The way we were: America’s cinemas today

Finally, the US is getting a cine-theatre renisannce thanks to the Mexico City-based multiplex concept chain Cinépolis. The experience is akin to the movie theatre at the Las Vegas MGM in the 1980s sans lion and the two black & whites per month. Cinépolis Luxury Cinema with 21 screens is now open in Del Mar with future locations planned in La Costa, Laguna Niguel and others nationwide.
