1927 Rolls Royce Phantom I Playboy Roadster hits the block at Coys auction at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, England on July 14th. This impressive machine is in pristine condition and for three decades was part of Warner Brother’s movie fleet — appearing in classic films including Giant, the FBI Story, and Daisy Clover (driven by Robert Redford), according to Coys. The presale estimate is £110,000-£130,000 ($170K-200K), reports Hemmings.com. To date, the 1912 Corgi Rolls-Royce, known as the ‘Silver Ghost,’ is the world’s most expensive Rolls not dipped in gold selling for $7.3 million.

FERRARI FOR THE MASSES

The Italo is Italy’s response to France’s TGV and Germany’s ICE. The nation’s first privatized high-speed train is designed by Ferrari. The dark Ferrari-red casing and stylish, comfortable interiors that seats 450 passagers outshines the TGV and speeds from Rome to Naples in an hour or to Milan in three. The Italo line owned by Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV), which is led by a group of Italian businessmen including Luca di Montezemolo (the head of Ferrari) and Diego Della Valle, the head of luxury shoemaker Tod’s.
