The last remaining bottle of Dalmore 62 has been sold for an amazing SGD 250,000 (USD 191,938) to a Chinese businessman at Singapore’s Changi Airport. The luxury 62-year old bottle is the last of just 12 bottles that were produced and is the most expensive bottle of Scotch ever to be sold. The Dalmore 62 contains spirit which dates all the way back to 1868 and the huge price tag owes much to the beautiful presentation of the bottle and the fact it is the only bottle left in the world. Coppola to auction rare bottles for Tsunami relief in NYC on September 24
In April, Francis Ford Coppola bought the Inglenook winery name with the stated goal of restoring the property he already owns “into America’s greatest wine estate.” At Christie’s New York on September 24, he will auction off some of his prized wine collection including two bottles of what made this wine a legend – the famed 1941 Inglenook and a rare bottle of the 1935 vintage.
