HoloLens promise ‘mind-blowing…new way of computing’

Microsoft unveiled headgear on Wednesday that overlays holograms on the real world, in what it touted as the next generation of computing. 2015: Year of Wearables?

“Lots of interest, a lot of caution, and not much worth buying…yet. This is what we saw in wearables at CES [January 2014]”, noted CNET on wearable technology trends. Almost a year later, Apple jumped into the space with their watch (USD 349) and the producers of Razer Nabu (USD 78) can’t meet demand. It sold out in 15 minutes on December 2.
