BACON ON BLOCK: £18 MILLION

A “seductive and sexually charged” Francis Bacon painting entitled The Portrait Of Henrietta Moraes, is expected to fetch £18 million ($27.8 million) when it goes on sale at Christie’s in central London on February 14, according to The Huffington Post UK. BELIZE, HOME TO WORLD’S ‘BEST’ HOTEL

TripAdvisor has announced the results of its 2012 Travelers Choice awards, recognizing the best hotels around the world as reviewed by its users. The site crowned The Phoenix Resort in Belize, a 30-condo beachfront property in San Pedro, as the best hotel in the world, knocking last year’s winner the Golden Well in Prague, from first place.
