Natural Machines, a Spanish start-up, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a 3D printer devoted entirely to food – so you would be able to print your meal not just the menu. The Foodini – which is in theory capable of printing any dish – has already demonstrated its ability to produce pizza, brownies, burgers and other dishes. It has empty capsules that users will fill with raw or cooked ingredients according to the recipe. Panda campaign hits Hong Kong, 1600 strong
A troupe of 1,600 papier-mâché pandas is set to descend upon HONG KONG this June, as part of an ongoing campaign by the WWF. ‘1600 Pandas World Tour in Hong Kong: Creativity Meets Conservation’ will see the pandas grace the city’s top 10 landmarks as part of the government’s ‘conserving central’ initiative. The 1,600 pandas, which come in six different shapes and sizes, represent the actual number of the endangered animals left on Earth.
