From Algeria to Vietnam, Saveur magazine has released a list of 55 “must-read” food blogs to follow, written from every corner of the world. Many of the blogs are written in English and helmed by English-speaking expats living abroad and documenting their epicurean adventures. EatingAsia, for example, is helmed by an American husband-and-wife team living in Malaysia: wife Robyn Eckhardt writes the text, while husband David Hagerman shoots the photos. Luxury auto maker wants to make men smell better
The first ever Mercedes-Benz for men scent was developed by perfumer Olivier Cresp and will be available in Eau de Toilette and matching grooming products in early 2012. Don’t expect to smell like a new car’s interior — this sophisticated scent combines woody notes with floral freshness. A nose describes the cool top note features Calabrian bergamot, lemon essence and Italian mandarin, with a middle note of warm, spicy mix of bourbon pepper, nutmeg, violet and galbanum resin.
